i was put on the lowest dosage of lexapro about a 1 1/2 year ago due to situational anxiety/depression. the situation has now resolved, and the doctor has told me to take one every other day for a couple of weeks, then 3 a week, then 2, then one, etc. i just started weaning off yesterday. the only thing i've noticed is a little tension at night (which was hideous when i first had to start taking the medicine). i don't want to slip back into the cycle of anxiety again...is it normal to have a few symptoms like this in the beginning of weaning off? please don't say, "ask you doctor." i'm very aware that is an option. i want YOUR opinions and experiences.
Lexapro is a fairly mild drug, especially at lower doses so it doesn't have the horrible weaning side effects that other substances do.
What to expect: headaches, difference in sleep patterns
