Large pupils?

My eyes at different times of the day / night become dialated, or very large. I do wear contact lenses, as vision isnt the best.
In some photos my pubils are extremely large (leaving little colour around the edges). When standing next to another person their pupils are normal size. Maybe my eyes dont respond quick enough to the camera flash in this situation?

I dont do drugs, so dilated pupils definately not from this.

Any one know anything about this?

the colour of my eyes also change from grey to green to dark blue. Why is that?

thanks!
I wish I could be more help but I can tell you a couple of things about pupil dilation.

1. If its a single camera flash, nobody's eyes have time to respond to it.

2. I have 3 cats and I often notice that the pupils of one cat tend to be more dilated than those of the others.

3. How dilated your pupils are can also depend on mood. Dilated pupils can indicate being happy, relaxed, at ease, or really liking the company you are keeping.

4. You could just both have been looking at different areas of brightness before the snapshot.
