i have only have a bowle movement every 3 or 4 days. i feels so bloated when i don't go. i use to be on the perscription strength mirlax(my intestains were compacted in a few spots), but i moved and haven't been to a specailist here to see if they'd give me another script. anyways i don't want to go buy laxitives, but would love to know things that had laxitive like effects. if some one could please give me a list, i could really use it. what fruits, veggies, ect would help? any other things you know of that would help would be great too?
What you need is bulk. Try some pyselium and add it to cereals or just mix it with water. Its not a laxative per se, its a fiber supplement.
For natural food, I like prunes, figs or other dried fruits. Always drink lots of extra water if you want to get the bowels working.
