Lexapro effects?

I started Lexapro 3 weeks ago. I take it due to my extremely stressful job and the anxiety it causes me.

Question: Does Lexapro cause you to have more desperate feeling before it begins to help? It seems that my anxiety has increased.
Sometimes Lexapro causes those very bad side effects making those feelings and thoughts you take that medication for much worse. Its obvious you should switch drug classes. No more benzo's. try welbutrin or beta blockers
